That "space ship" from the movie was mounted in the parking lot at the 4 Seasons Motor Lodge (where apparently many of the film crews and cast stayed) in Kanab Utah. It was there when I was staying there, doing public Lands Cadastral surveys, in the mid-late 70's. It was sort of a tourist deal, I guess, it was removed a few years after that. I think I have some pictures of it, pointed up, ready for takeoff, lol.
Kanab was pretty big in the Movie industry back then, Johnson Canyon had a western Movie set, Old Paria had one as I recall. And I will never forget, the day I was checking in, Lee Majors and Farah Fawcett-Majors were checking out, from filming an episode of the 6-Million Dollar Man, I think.
Even behind those sunglasses and scarf, she wowed this 22 year old small town Missouri boy!
