Found an article late June, said the Kane Creek area in Padre closed. Someone was being sh***ty. Has that area reopend yet?
 
Thanks Wayne, saw that the other day. Which is why I posted as a new thread...seems many people have asked in the past several weeks, and no firm reply yet.
Based on the map in the news story and coordinates people have posted, probably moot for me anyhow. Headed for Cookie Jar, which is a bit east of the closure, right?
