Jeep Shore line camping spot for fishing from a float tube

We've never been to Lake Powell and am looking for a good spot drive the Jeep to the shoreline to camp and fish from a float tube.
I've looked at the maps, and it looks like I can can get into the Good Hope Bay Area, would that be a good option or should I be looking for somewhere further south. My Jeep is VERY capable so road conditions are not much of an issue, just looking for a spot that offers good fishing from a float tube.

In a "VERY capable" Jeep you should be able to get down to the shoreline at Blue Notch, except for the sign at the top of the hill that says access is closed due to water level(unless it has been removed). I would never encourage anyone to ignore signs to gain access to public lands. From there you can fish Blue Notch and Red Canyon out to the main lake. Plenty of small coves in that area. Fishing will be slower than summer, but we've caught several stripers from shore on our Black Friday daytrips into Blue Notch. We hauled a pedalboat in once and caught more than we had from shore.

Blue Notch is a good recommendation. The talk has gotten very quiet on this site due to the closure sign. I saw a jeep and 2 dirtbikes down on the shore in the rincon. I have not done that drive though. If there are no signs and you go to blue notch, please report back.
Cheers

X2 on Blue Notch, it is an adventure well worth taking! Just be sure to be super cautious around the shoreline with your Jeep. Seems like the main reason people need to be rescued ($$$$$), is they get stuck in what looks like solid ground but is actually crusted mud..

I would also recommend a kayak, raft, or kickboat with oars over a float tube. Something that would allow you to cover a bit of water!

Update:

We were able to make it to the shoreline in GHB. There was 1 sign that said Blue Notch Shore access closed, stay on designated roads. The designated road continued passed the sign with no other signs on into GHB. See the attached image of our routes and waypoints. Blue Notch.jpg

There were really no road obstacles to speak of going in. I would think any stock 4x4 with a little bit of clearance would have no trouble at all. I went in 2x2 the entire way.

We went in on the Pink Line (Main Blue Notch Road) We exited on the Red route attempting to find a way to The Main Red Canyon Road, but all the cutoff roads going south were washed out pretty bad, and I did not want to attempt it being solo. My rig is VERY capable and probably could have made it with support from other rigs, and an experienced / good spotter, but it would have be VERY difficult and maybe not even possible.

Fishing was pretty good, with many 15-20 Inch Stripped bass, several large mouth and a couple small mouth bass. The large mouth bass in the picture is about 17" long
