How's the snowfall where you're at?

In Flagstaff, we have gotten absolutely CLOBBERED by this storm. Over 40 inches now, and still falling! None of it finds it's way into Powell though. I hope those of you that live in the drainages above lake are getting some of the SAME!

100% of average in the upper Green River. But those numbers are conservative, all the SNOTEL's are up high, and they do not count the huge snow cover we have down in the valleys. Plus another winter storm warning for the Saturday-Tuesday, then more snow in the long term forecast. I am glad to see the southern drainages of Lake Powell getting good moisture, the past few years we have been hammered up here while the south suffered from drought.....

Here in Hanksville, UT we didn't get nearly that kind of snow, but this is the most we have seen in the 12 years here. We had about 6" in our backyard but the weather station official tally was 4". But, have heard the snow on the Henry Mountains is 8' deep in spots. North Wash will see some run-off this year. :)

Hi Squirrel! Looking at the map, Boulder actually looks like it goes into the Fremont and ends up in the Dirty Devil. North Wash begins on the Henry Mountains

I stand corrected, Boulder does go into the Escalante arm and not the Fremont. I was way off on that first guess, but looking at the map, definitely goes into the Escalante.

Actually I was asking about the drainage that goes into Bullfrog bay from the West side of the Henry Mountains. Looked at it on Google Earth and didn't find a name for that wash. Went to Boulder Ut. for lunch one day years ago and seen 2 violent washouts of the road from the prior weeks. Sq

Here in Durango, we're doing just fine. :) Last week's storm gave us three days off school--in one week! We've been shoveling and snowblowing around the clock. We are all exhausted. Purgatory has a 94-inch base. Much more snow than in previous years. I don't remember shoveling and moving this much snow since the epic winter of 2007. This pic was taken 3 days ago. I think the runoff will be in good shape for spring. I know that the water experts are warning that the dry soil is going to suck up most of it, but as an eternal optimist, I think there will be plenty of water to go around. And, it would be nice if it rains the entire month of April..... Keep your fingers crossed for a very wet spring.

Boulder flows into 4 main drainages:
A. Fremont River (Dirty Devil, Lake Powell)
B. Escalante River (Lake Powell)
C. Sevier River (Sevier Dry Lake / Irrigation / Central Utah)
D. Paria (Colorado River below Lake Powell)
