My son and I have decided last minute to head up to Wonderful Lake Powell for the weekend. This will be our first time to Hite hopefully loading a boat won’t be too difficult. Is it possible this year to camp at Hite next to your vehicle?

Usually there are lots of places to pull your vehicle down to the water and park your boat right next to it just up from where you launch your boat. Depends on the water level and how many other people are there. I have heard that they upgraded the camping over by the old concrete boat ramp as well.

Hi! Maggie here from the Hite Outpost. The new sites are huge and can totally accommodate both a trailer and RV. They are all brand new. The ones down by the water are dry sites but the ones along the boat ramp have private water access at each site. The number here is 435-233-6822 if you have more questions. I can send you pictures of the launch ramp if you need some. Everyone has said they've had zero issues launching, but they didn't put the dock in the water this year, so keep that in mind. I don't think there is a single person in the campground right now, so you'll essentially have Hite all to yourself this weekend see ya soon!
