I’ve always love visiting Lake Powell, been going since the early 80’s. Having family in Hanksville has definitely resulted in more trips to the lake over the years.

Does anyone know what the current water temp is right now?

Water temperature yesterday morning was 47 degrees at Stateline ramp. The ramp temperature is about 1 degree lower than found in the main channel while traveling uplake. I am headed out now to take another temperature reading. After a warmer day yesterday my guess is going to be 48F. But then the days cool off again. We should have a lake temperature between 47 and 52 for the next 2 weeks followed by a rapid rise once the 70 degree air temperature arrives.

Lowest we saw last weekend was 46 at Bullfrog, warmest was 48 in Reds. (Last Friday and Saturday)

Thanks for the update. We are planning a trip to GHB at the end of the month and would like to see the water temperature at least 50 degrees. We’ve been to the lake several times this year already and haven’t been very successful on LM or SM. Also, striper fishing has been slow for us this year.

10 day forecast is still cool, rainy and windy so water temperature is going to continue to hover at 47-51. I am always excited to go out when if finally hits 53!
