Hello Again

Just wanted to pop in and say Hello again to you all. I haven't been very active over the past years, but still a lurker on one of my favorite sites to escape through you all. Good to see some of the old familiar people and a lot of new. Life situations have changed as they do and I expect to be down there a bunch this summer and can hopefully contribute useful info to the board. The wife's 20 year plan to get her dream boat has finally paid off. After starting out with a hand me down 17' bass tracker in '99 and progressing up through 5 different boats we are now in a '07 Sundancer 290 so longer stays will be forthcoming. Not exactly a boil chaser, but I will still do my best to put a hurt on the Stripers. I will dig out my old WW's flag and look for others. The boats name in "Journey" so say hi if you see us. We will probably mostly frequent the south end. We were going to come down next weekend, but wanted to wait for the water to warm up a few degrees.

290 DA is almost the perfect boat for cruise/camping Powell. Congratulations! We have done the whole spectrum of boats, starting with my dad’s 19’ Chris Craft woody back in 1976. We will keep our eyes open for Journey when we are on the lake.
