Hi All!

I know, it's been a LONGGGG time since I have posted... I changed not only jobs, but entire careers (went from running a high end Audio/Video/Automation Company in Aspen, Telluride, Crested Butte, and points further, to running a well drilling and abandonment company), and have an incoming High School SENIOR (Carson, my red head daughter) who's schedule has include 15 sports camps, multiple college campus visits, and several invites to Washington, D.C. for academic awards...so I have been a little busy.

Many of you long-timers remember Conner 'Ballast Boy', since he was as young as 9 years old...well, he'll be 20 in October, and is working for the same drilling company as I am as an apprentice driller. He also recently got his Associates degree in Architechtural and Mechanical Engineering and Drafting, and will likely be taking that to the next level in the spring.

I digress!

By the sheer Grace of God and some incredible alignment of schedules, we all have the next three days off after a surprise this morning, and are headed to our favorite place on earth at O'Dark Thirty in the morning!!!

Question for all my fellow Wordlings (I know, you feel abandoned by me, and I am not worthy, AND I am sorry,); Is anyone going to be (or not going to be) in Bullfrog tomorrow through Thursday morning that I could tie off to the back of a houseboat, or use an empty slip? My kids and I are camping in the RV spots, and my in-laws have a room at the lodge, so all we need is a place to tie up for two nights... I have no problem launch and retrieving if we have to, but figured I'd at least reach out here first!

We're taking our in-laws, one of which is in failing health, so I'm trying to make this as easy on him as possible...

And yes, I WILL post pics galore of our trip and our fishing (catching) successes as well!

Thanks,

'Broski"

Broski,

Great to hear from you again. Hope your trip went well. I had a 3 day trip in July, and that's just not enough. I, too, have a high achieving incoming high school senior who just finished his second summer of big shot events: last year, Georgetown, this summer, Yale. Kinda cuts into the Powell budget/time. But I'd rather have that than a slacker heading nowhere.
