Headed to Wahweap on Monday. Any advice?

I'm headed up to Wahweap from Phoenix on Monday. I've always fished when it's warm and the fish are deep. Mainly vertical with chovies but I've down well at times trolling and even jigging now and then.
Any advice? I'll be staying close to the marina. No farther than Navajo Canyon.
 
Yes, give the back of Navajo a try. You do need good electronics because the Stripers were hugging the bottom with shad at 26-46 feet. Not easy to see with conventional sonar, but easy to pick up with Panoptics. We used Anchovies and did very well. All of the Stripers fought great and the filets were the best that I've ever experienced. I'm sure that they'll be there. Good luck!
