I am headed down on the first, wouldn't you know the restaurant closes on the first, I guess I will have to cook. Wish I was going to be there the same time but we will miss you by a couple of days.

Good luck. I took the motorhome down and stayed in Stanton last week. Best fishing was south. I did really well in Iceberg using topwater and fat free white cranks. Small stripers, smallmouth and large mouth every other cast. Then 2 cold fronts came in back to back and shut everything down. Shad went down to 70 feet. No boils or striper schools found. Occasional lone fish rising are generally smb and will hit a lure. Spoons never did work.

We have a video off the walkway under the lights. Ridiculous Shad. One fellow caught 20 something throwing a bone colored shallow diver in them. I’m hoping they gorge themselves all winter and are hungry by spring

Hugh Shad balls didn’t come in last night. Weird. Cold and windy today so we didn’t go out. Worked on prep to pull the houseboat Friday. Maybe 1 more try in the am before we head home. Fishing is great but catching SUCKS!!!

Well when we went through inspection there was snow on NPS vehicle’s . As we were pulling out a big cruiser pulled in. Had a couple inches of snow on it. Not sure where they came in but it made me colder just looking at it. It blew pretty hard Sunday night so I highly doubt that fishing will be any easier than before, probably even harder.

it really didn’t stick to ground. Windshields boats etc. I think ground temp is still too warm. Not sure where the boats traveled from coming in. I know it started off raining pretty good. Then I went to bed

When I left the Antelope Point Marina yesterday mid-morning, on the docks it was just wet, windy, and cold, but up in the parking lot in the shaded areas there was an inch or so of snow. Anywhere not shaded the snow was already melted, but just that couple of hundred feet of elevation from lake to parking lot was the difference between rain only and snow. In October. In Page.
