Hall Creek Bay help

Taking the houseboat out of Bullfrog October 8. Has anyone been in Halls Creek Bay recently? Would like to know if it is safe to get into and if there's enough water to play with the power boat.

Was there last week. Bay is small but there were 3-4 houseboats in there.

Similar opinion here. Houseboat room, yes. Speedboat play room, likely not.

Cotton wood forest is just below the surface outside the one west side channel in HB... There is no room for water sports

That’s the one area of the lake I go that I’m uncomfortable. Even more so than way up north past the horn or as far north as you can go in the SJ.

When we went into HC last week I went slow and not far. Too many whales and trees.

That said there was one deck boat with about 15 + people towing a tube around.
