Going Fishing

Heading out tomorrow to Starvation. Can't wait all year for Lake Powell to open. Walleye fishing is good there also and about the same distance for me to drive.
Thought about Flaming Gorge but still a bit chilly there and i am done with the cold. May hit it or Blue mesa In another month or so when the Kokanee start to hit.
So disappointed in the way things are at Powell, we were camped in Cha canyon during 911 and never knew it happened till 2 days later. Social distancing 101!!

Not much luck on walleye and only got one. Surprisingly i caught several large rainbows(20 inch plus) on a mud minnow ned rig with a half of a night crawler on it. As you launch from the main boat ramp go across to the first wall at your about 11 oclock. Stay in about 40 feet of water off the wall and you should get into some trout. We also caught quite a few trolling along the wall in the same depth range of 30-40ft. Hope you guys get into some!

FYI: kokes are going now at the Gorge.
 
Got blown off of Starvation last visit. Constantly windy there. Would like to hit it on a calm morning.
