Any information. On fishing in FriendshipCove ,seems it is never mentioned. Heading that direction for a week long camping &fishing trip
Thanks for any information
Steve

It seems the Stripers always like cruising that cove. There's sooooooo much slurping activity there in early Summer. Definitely be wary of the point that will be wayyyy out into the channel at these water levels. I've altered my path to Rock Creek in recent years, avoiding that point as I pass by.

Lake Bum, thanks for the information, we're usually camping in Rock Creek, always wondered about Friendship . Never ventured
As we always got into fish in Rock Creek. Will post pictures when we return in about 10 days

Thanks again Steve

Have some friends that just got off the lake and fished that area hard. Fishing wasn't on fire like last fall but did pretty good considering. A lot of small healthy fish. They did get into small stripers in Friendship and the back of Rock Creek.
The highlight of the trip was a 6lb striper and a 10.6lb striper.

Had friends, good fishermen, who parked in Dry Rock a month ago and fished that whole area with very little success. I'd suggest at least one early morning run the Cha in the San Juan. It sounds like it's on fire and has been for a month or so. About this time one year I camped in Cha and the big boils were unbelievable. Chuck
