Fishing info at the south end pls

My 9 yr old grandson wants to go fishing at the south end & we don't have a boat. Best place to go the launch ramp at Antelope or the fishing dock at Wahweap? Can we fish off the houseboat docks at either place?

Try watching Kyran Keisling utube videos there's a few on shore fishing.

Yes, you can fish off the docks and even at the Wahweap rental dock (at least in the evening you can at the rental dock). I've caught fish in all of these places so to me it depends on what kind of fishing you want to do. Dock fishing is a little different than shore fishing unless you just want to throw chovies. You could do that and probably catch some stripers at any of the locations.
