You can usually catch about all specie's at that time, so what ever you target get after um, I hope it is open for us all.

May is probably one of the best months to fish Powell

That's all good to hear. We usually fish for bass around the end of April. But we'll take whatever we can get if we can get on the water.

End of May the fishing is pretty good(great compared to most lakes), but the temps are pretty warm as well. When temperatures reach 95 we start fishing elsewhere, though I just installed an air conditioner on the cabin cruiser in hopes to extend our enjoyment/comfort on Powell.

get out early, drop offs, ledges, broken rock. may need to go deep on broken rock, the fish will tell you. early evening to sunset can be good. Enjoy !
