Fish Collection - Wahweap August 27th

We are collecting 60 stripers (Hook and Line) on Tuesday morning August 27 for a health inspection. We hope to catch the fish close to Wahweap and get the fish analyzed by 11 AM and get the crew back on the road to Logan, UT by noon. Sometimes we get enough fish from one or two boils. This year we may need help. If you are fishing and want to contribute some stripers to the cause we would appreciate it. Just drive by the cleaning station at 11 AM and we will take them from you. Let me know if you will contribute.

A new fish report will follow on Wednesday morning.

Randy Tickner is going to help with our collection. He found some surface action in the main channel near Gunsight. We did a scouting trip early this morning and found some surface activity in Warm Creek. Looks like we will have a good day tomorrow and successfully complete our fish collection.

Glad I could help. We hit the mother lode on Wed. Just past the double islands on the right in Warm Creek the fish were boiling and we caught many large stripers. We then went to the main channel and just past mm13 the whole main channel started boiling. A good day. Then went to Navajo and caught some bass deep along channel. Today the fish were missing in action. There was a small boil in the Cottonwood area of Warm Creek with small stripers.
