End of Monsoon?

An article in the San Diego paper today mentioned that our monsoon season may be over. We have had inland fog and cooler temperatures.
Is it over for southern Utah as well??
Seems a bit early doesn't it?

Yes it does. I figure it to last into September.

I am going to the lake on 9/12, the latest I have ever been. I am requesting that monsoon season end by the 11th.
