Access is open 24/7 beginning on Friday. I do not know when launching actually begins on Friday. Stay tuned and when I know more I will post it here.

Thanks Wayne, that's not exactly what we we're hoping for. I think I'll run down tomorrow evening and double check, can't hurt. I'll post what I find out.

I emailed NPS this morning, they said they will remove barricades at 7;00 AM

Thanks Bob, I said I was going to go by Waweap ramp this evening to see if the barracades had been removed, but I guess I will trust NPS about opening at sunrise

Why is it so so so hard for the NPS to communicate simple but important details??? I've been asking this same question for a week. I'm just as confused now than ever. If this was a privately held business, they'd be out of business. Good luck tomorrow! I'll either be on the lake as sunrise or waiting in line with the rest of you.

I now know for sure that NPS opened the ramp at 5:15 AM this morning. As of 7:30 AM boats were still arriving but the line was short. There were still a few parking places in the primary parking lot. Lots of parking in the secondary lot on the opposite side of the street. Looks like Lake Powell is open for business.
