Stayed at Stanton for a week. Fishing was spotty. Water temp still 78. Stripers were deep 65 to 90 ft. They were scattered. Spooned them at the mouth of Stanton, out from the haystacks, and the mouth of Knowles.
All were suspended in 100 ft of water. No boils were spotted. Lots of shad in canyons. Lots of skinny fish.
