So here is my report from the last few days. Arrived Monday and got on the water about 2 pm. Went up to Crystal Canyon and trolled the main channel from there up to the first notch and back a few times. Hooked one stripper and had a couple bites. Then came back to bullfrog bay and trolled between the green bouy(BF3) and the Red Bouy (BF4). Caught probably a doz between about 3 and 5 pm.
Tuesday we tried the bullfrog troll first thing but no takers even though the fish were there. Then we went to Rincon to fish for sallies but, saw some slurps as we pulled in so we started casting rattle traps to no avail. So we started jigging. We had non stop action for about 45 minutes. Then the fish disappeared. We tried to find them again but no luck. Wednesday morning got back to bullfrog bay around 2:30 and trolled the same area with good success.
Wednesday morning we tried BF but no luck. Drove up to the back of Moki to fish for smallies along the rocky shore but nothing. About halfway back out we saw what looked like a bait ball with fish so we started jigging. Jigged up about 10 but had to keep moving to find them as they moved in the same area. Then we had to head home about noon.
All in all a good trip
