Went down Friday thru Sunday am. I marked the most fish inGHB. I was fishing points on underwater islands and it se seemed that it the fish weren’t there initially, they soon came around. Not as many skinny stripers this trip. There were way more birds in GHB than last week. Water was 55-58. Only saw 1 boat all weekend north. I saw nobody on the water Sunday, seemed like the lake was deserted. More cow news… the gal at the decon said UPS hit a cow last Tuesday night.

We were there from the 2nd to the 5th and had good luck in the backs of the canyons in about 30 feet of water, several schools were on the graph. Smaller stripers were fat and healthy and that was mostly what we caught. Weather was no wind, but cold mid 40's. We saw one houseboat going south from Halls. The water and pump stations at the marinas are closed for the winter.
