Bullfrog 20 to 22nd

Just got back from Bullfrog. perfect weather no wind for 3 days. fishing slow but did manage some bass and stripers. caught most of our fish in Lake Canyon. fish the row of trees about 1/2 way back in the canyon. best bait 3 to 4" minnow type baits with boot tails or single tail grub in blue ice color. I had a huge striper take a swipe at my whooper plopper right at the boat. BOATERS BEWARE!! there is a huge rock just under the water at the south side of the entrance to Halls Bay! our best lure for this trip was the Berkley single tail grub 4" blue pearl Salt and pepper color. when we were in Lake Canyon there were 3 or 4 large schools of small shad or stripers swimming near the surface. this grub looks just like them. Dennis J from Junction
