Went out fishing for Blue Gill and Crappie on Friday morning , found Blue Gill on the first tree in Lake Canyon . Fished Hall Creek for about 2hrs and got skunked, then went over to what is left of the Hobie Cat area , there is a spot where a old fence line is coming out of the water and by it where some Sea Gulls on a rock . I trolled a underspin with a swimbait with a worm looking for a walleye on my 6lb Crappie pole . I ended up catching the biggest Striper in my life. Had to leave and meet up with @Rush at the dock before dark .
Next 2 days me and Rush fished mainly for Blue Gill and Crappie on his boat up North , Cedar and Knowles. I got to see his Garmin livescope in action and we did good for Blue Gill. We new we where in Crappie but we only caught about 5 in 2 days . Came back in on Sunday night and I wanted a Garmin Livescope .
Went out in my boat on Monday and ran into schools ands schools of shad , then picked up Crappie on my cheaper Lowrance Eagle Eye 9 forward facing sonar . I was able to limit out on Crappie and save $4,000 dollars on the same day cant beat that .
