Just got off the phone with Aramark houseboat reservations in Phoenix for a protocol for Houseboat rentals that are already confirmed. The way I understand it is that Powell will remain closed until May 1st. At that time a decision will be made to either open or stay closed till the next target date. At this time all confirmed houseboat rentals up to June 1st can get their money back or reschedule. This only applies to Aramark and I don't know what Antelope is doing. My houseboat trip starts May 11th so at least this policy allows me to talk to everyone on the trip with the assurance we will not have to wait for the last second to know if we get a refund. If you are in this time period, I would call reservations so you can hear it first hand but I am relieved that Aramark is not going to pull a fast one, saying you lost your money because you cancelled while they were open.
