How's the road into Blue Notch ? Red Canyon? Anyone made the trip lately ?

was there MLK weekend . Road is decent, every little drainage and arroyo that could run, did run during the last large precip event . It’s a slower journey than usual but nothing technical. There is one spot that would possible hinder a top heavy vehicle , but a guy could just stack rocks. The road is washed out completely in a spot in the big wash, but it’s easy just to drive thru the wash . I was in two wheel drive most of the time in my truck. The road took 30 minutes extra because if the washes.. the signs saying ya can’t go thar are gone except one . I’m not sure what the deal is but I never payed attention to them anyway , been camping and fishing there for 25 years . I’ll be there on dead Presidents’ Day for my 44th with the kids and a bunch of other redneck hippies . Stop by and say hi .. have fun and catch em

We saw 2 jeeps camped down by the water the 16-18 Jan weekend. Did not ask them how the road was.

Thanks for the info. Use to spend alot of time at BN back in the 90's and early 2000's. Farley and White at times when there was water. The good ole days. Also south at Copper canyon. Might try a trip this spring.

Yeah the good old days ! When you could drive your boat from bullfrog to halls without going into the main Channel! And you could launch at Hite ! Yeah man no problem . The water level is kind of shocking it’s so low, wild to see red canyon like this. But the fishing is always good there in the spring, before runoff..
