It sounds like people need to camp on the North side of the lake. Utah county maps show the Colorado River being the North boundary of San Juan County. San Juan has banned camping, so, camping on the North shore is out of their jurisdiction. Sq

Isn't Blue Notch camp spot inside of Glen Canyon Rec Area? Seems like the ideal place for social distance compliance.

The county flipped from republican to democrat last election. Not unrelated.
Keeping people safe is bipartisan! It sucks but having an injured boater climber or hiker in one of these small town hospitals takes up a very important bed right now , ops not normal

Did you have a truck or just a boat?
boat and 2 trucks

and keeping people from coming from all over.Alaska has a 14 day quarantine.

Just wondering what the rangers that kicked them out of blue notch said ? What exactly are they enforcing? I’m sure they told the guys that got booted what the exact criteria is. Seems to be alot of different info on all this . Knowing the rangers words might help

If boat campers are getting booted it will speed up the closure that much sooner because all the houseboats will be stuck on the North Shore. Keeping social distance will be that much tougher. If it’s just truck campers this is a minor issue.
