BF bay is on!!!!

Brandon a, can you tell me if bathrooms are still open at bullfrog on the water? Was going to try and get down Thursday and stay on hb but like to use bathrooms at the marina!

Agreed. We did well today trolling the bay....I think 25 total and a pretty good split between bright colors, shad colors and umbrella rig.

Hey,
Been a member for about 5 years and have watched your posts. You have integrity with your reports and don’t BS. Heading to Bullfrog in the morning. Going to be trolling. Tips on depth, lures, and time would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
 
Hey guys well back to work today!! But was a great trip. We fished Friday thru Sunday. We fished Friday all day in BF bay we trolled bright colors in 20' or so all day and were very successful all day the bite was consistent. Saturday we fished the morning in BF bay and no bites. So we went to Halls and no bites! Then we went back to BF bay and switched colors up to more natural colors grays and blues then they started hitting and we caught fish until dark!. Sunday we fished all morning in BF and no bites then went back to camp for a few hours to process fish 47 count. We then fished the afternoon till dark and caught 11 more fish!. Left Monday morning first light.,The water temp was average 52 deg. We saw 3 other boats the whole weekend but we were the only ones trolling. We trolled the whole time The weather was hit and miss but mostly nice and cool. Hope this is helpful! Tight Lines All

Hey, I'm really not a great fisherman. Usually just trying to get the kids out. I'm usually trying real hard not to tangle too many lines as I'm out with kids. This week it's me and my 14 year old, 11 year old and 9 year old. Can be awesome and chaotic at times. We usually troll when the bass bite is slow. We have been trolling back of bullfrog bay opposite shore of dome rock in 15-30' of water. Umbrella rig is top producer (wayne you need to get that changed to unlimited hooks for Powell and we could pull a lot more stripers from the lake) followed by shad colored lures and then brights. Plan for tomorrow with it being warmest day is to head to good hope for the day, otherwise we should be back to bullfrog for Thursday. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
