So finally after 2 years I’m heading to bullfrog, I was so excited!! We arrived Thursday night gonna go home Sunday. Friday morning executive ramp the big motor won’t start so we decided we’d fish from bullfrog to halls on the kicker motor, had a good day caught 5 largemouth a bunch of smallies 1 almost 4 lbs, 1 really good walleye and a few smaller, decided we’d head home in the morning, because the big motor won’t run, we got just past the on ramp I-70 going towards Salina the hitch on the boat where it swings to fold it in snapped, we got pulled over every thing is ok but the hitch is snapped!! Lucky for me I’m a rig welder on the pipeline, we’re in my welding truck so an hour and a half later we’re back on the road, I must say I’ve had worse weekends
 
wow! That’s what I call an eventful trip! You should be good for a great trip after all that.
I hate trouble when I’m traveling and fishing.
Glad you got home safe. Thank you for the post. Seems like when it rains it pours sometimes.
 
Good fishin’ and able to fix what could’ve been a huge problem…send me some of that “bad luck” 🤣 Well done!

Had a tire tread peel off our Suburban on 89 north of Flagstaff. The 65 mph flapping tread bent the tailpipe closed killed engine and causing no start.

Luckily had a sawzall. Cut the bent tailpipe, put on spare, back on the road.

Hope the big motor is an easy fix and back to the lake soon 👍
 
Our Son has experiences like that quite often. I told him that he has the best bad luck of anyone I know.
Be thankful you’ve had to work all of your life and know how to solve problems. Not just a another nincompoop who has to callAAA and wait to be helped
 
Where the tounge of the boat trailer swings or folds so it will fit in the garage, 2 welds on each side, the tube that 1 bolt goes through the other side is the removable pin so you can fold it , the hinge’s basically are welded on, they are covered with coating on my boat, 1 weld was cracked long enough to rust up, the other must have gotten weak and snapped, it is a 2007 Ranger trailer, I have 2 friends with Ranger trailers I’m going to look at for them
