If you missed it last time, Gregory Arch will be most likely be ready again to float under in early April.


WAY more exciting than Gregory was the hike into CTD, stand under their waterfall, just like it was before the Dam.


Mark your calendar… April 10-13, 2026…

Missed my chance a couple of years ago to boat under Gregory. Making plans to make it this time around. Although it's too bad this year's runoff is lethargic it will be nice to get another opportunity to see it.

Dad's old slide was processed nov of 1967 so most likely summer of that year.

Fun! Comparing July 15, 1967 (mid-Summer ‘67) to September 17, 2022 (date of pontoon photo above) the lake elevation was within 2’ on these dates…55 years apart.

If I remember correctly the top of Gregory arch is 3,550. You’re right that we should be able to boat under it next spring!

Love those old slides.....those Ectachrome and Kodachrome slides have not faded in 60 years.... Bet millions were taken as our lake was forming....
