Just a heads up! Please don’t feed the coyotes. I actually had the bash an aggressive coyote in the head with a water jug this weekend. The ranger and the game warden responded and shot the animal. The ranger stated that people had been feeding the coyotes and one had been running people off of the fish cleaning station.
The coyote showed no fear what so ever. I charged it, yelling and screaming and it only backed up a couple of feet. Every time, I tried to disengage from him. The coyote would try to circle around behind me. Once, I made it back to my camper. The coyote stayed with in sight, until the ranger arrived.
The end result. If you feed the coyotes or foxes, you are sentencing them to death. Every time the rangers get a call, they try to kill the animal.
