4 nights on the lake

My son and I launched at Stateline around 4pm Thursday 6/23 and camped in a nice cove in Navajo Canyon until early Monday morning 6/27. We had wind/rain almost every afternoon/night but overall the weather was great. Saturday afternoon’s storm was pretty crazy but we survived. The waterfalls all along the various canyon walls were amazing to see.

Sunday morning was a little tense with another crew coming in and trying to steal my beach but I won’t spoil this post with that story (maybe I’ll make a separate thread in the Issues section).

Leaving before sunrise on Monday offered some amazing views and glassy smooth water as I motored back to Stateline.

All things considered it was a fantastic trip.

It ended with a handshake and a shared beach after I decided not to let my last day get ruined.

From your pictures, it doesn't look like there is enough beach to fight over - given the entire lake and they want to be right next to you?? I hope they made a great peace offering to be able to share the beach with you

It was acceptable for the day. If it had been the start of our trip and I hadn’t been sleep deprived for three previous nights I would not have yielded.
