What a perfect 5 days on the Lake! We camped in Rock Creek about 3/4 way back on a island. We never left Rock Creek to fish. The fish were everywhere in 37' - 42'. The only problem was they weren't always hungry. We did a lot of jigging with varies lures. When we did start catching, they fought like you had a 20lb fish on the line!. Early mornings and late afternoons were the best times. The fish we did catch were 3 - 4 lbs and very healthy. These were some the best fish we have caught in a long time. We ended up with 1 walleye, 3 sm and 19 stripers. We did find that only 2 of the stripers had only 1 shad each inside. SM fishing was slow, but then again we were mainly targeting stripers. The lake was like glass, the weather was perfect and we only saw 1 boat where were at the whole time. We did see a otter also but wasn't able to get a picture. Another great trip on the lake!

Attached are pictures of some of the highlights of our adventure and some varies lures we used, (we lost our silver and gold Kastmasters) Looks like ordering time for more tackle.

Wow great pics, what spoon would Say worked the best?
Don, don't know the names of the spoons but the two center ones worked really good as did kastmastes in gold and silver.I also caught acouple on the one end right side ,the hooks were to small and the fish swallowed ,was to hard to remove. Hope this helps
